Who can attend?

Sundays at 10:30am, our doors are wide open to everyone, regardless of their background. At Fort Bragg First Baptist Church, you'll find a place where you really matter—because you matter to God! You will find our church a safe place to investigate the claims of Christ, grow in your faith, and find people to connect with no matter where you are in your journey.

Who are we?

Since 1887, believers who have called Fort Bragg First Baptist Church their home church have challenged one another to live out the values and ministry evidenced by the very first church of Christ followers, as seen in the New Testament book of Acts, chapter 2. When we surrender our lives to Christ, He brings us into God’s family, and when we band together as a local church, we can live out our commitment to Christ as active participants in His mission through this local fellowship of believers.

 WELCOME

About us

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to make disciples who follow Jesus Christ in obedience. We envision growing communities of passionate Christ-followers actively transforming our communities and serving the world.

We share a common VISION

We believe all people matter to God and that Christ’s message and ministry through the local church is the hope of the world. Together, as one family of Christ followers, we are fully committed to living out this vision in our families, neighborhoods, city, and world.

We share a common COMMUNITY

We were created for deep, authentic relationships with God and other people—and we share a unique community with other believers as members of the body of Christ. We are also called to serve this world for God’s purposes—a mission that Christ invites all of us to join, as part of His church.

We share a common COMMITMENT

We believe spiritual growth is a lifelong process. Membership at Fort Bragg First Baptist Church means that you want to be a part of our church family to be encouraged in your faith and share your spiritual gifts so that, together we might grow in our knowledge of the love of Christ and live holy lives reaching out to a lost world. Together we seek biblical direction as we follow Jesus as members of this local church. There is a difference between being a visitor or guest at a family’s gathering and being a family member. We absolutely love having guests but we hope and pray that we may soon welcome you as part of our family!

What to expect on Sunday:

We meet every Sunday morning from 10:30am-11:00am for fellowship - coffee & snacks. Then Worship service begins at 11:00am – 12:00pm. Dress is casual. Worship is a blend of contemporary music and hymns. We have a full children’s ministry from cradle to 5th grade that meets at the same time to meet the needs of your family. We know that it can feel strange when entering a new environment and naturally takes some time before things start to feel comfortable. So we encourage you to attend for 3-4 weeks to get a good sense of who we are and what we are all about. One of our core values is “Family”.
