THE PRIVILEGE OF PARTNERSHIP

At Fort Bragg First Baptist, we recognize God as Creator, Provider, Sustainer, and Hope.

We gratefully receive and we joyfully give. As a community, there is a satisfaction that

comes from following Jesus' example of generosity. We are privileged to be able to share

our resources so that others may be served and so that He may be known.

The Bible tells us that everything we have is a gift from God (1 Chronicles 29:14).

The Bible also teaches that tithing—giving God the first 10% of our income—is designed

to teach us to always put God first in our lives (Deuteronomy 14:23). Tithing is a reminder

that God is the giver of all good things; it is also an invitation to an outpouring of God's

blessing in our lives. Malachi 3:10 tells us that when we bring our tithes to Him,

He will "open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not

be room enough to store it" (NLT). God dares us to see if we can possibly out give Him.

2 Corinthians 9:7 encourages us: "So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not

grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver."

God influences the world through His people. He gives to you so that He can give through

you. As you faithfully give, the world is changed for the glory of God; the Gospel is

preached, lives are impacted, bodies are healed; churches are built and

grown. And then God, in turn, blesses you, so that you can give again!

Your weekly contributions to Fort Bragg First Baptist Church support the General Operating

Fund. This fund allows the day-to-day ministries and services of our church to flourish.

All that happens on weekends, and all that happens throughout the week, happens because

of your tithes and offerings.
